This road, part of an old Roman road, runs north west out of the Dorset county town, Dorchester. Along the way it undulates, climbing and dipping back down to run alongside the River Frome.
This photograph, a 35mm slide, was taken on a bicycle ride some time in the 1980s. It has been rephotographed projected against a textured surface to create a water colour effect, evoking a nostalgic feel for cycle rides of the past.
