One summer’s day cycling through the Somerset countryside I came upon this line of birds sitting on telephone wires, waiting to fly off.

Field of hope
Taken on a cycle ride just as the first Covid19 lockdown in England was beginning to ease in May 2020. People were venturing out for the first time and I just loved the sense of optimism in this photograph.
