The Holloway Road is a major road in London, traffic laden 24/7 but perhaps, as its name suggests, that might not always have been the case. A holloway is a sunken track lined with trees.
This project grew out of a daily routine; each morning before work I would head out with the camera to photograph whatever I saw. Very often it would be the trees along the Holloway Road and I began to re-imagine it as that sunken holloway.
These photographs, taken in different seasons, are my attempt to focus on those often overlooked trees and show the street in another light as an ancient track through a wildwood.

To learn a little more about the project and why I am making these photographs check out the blog post here.
