A conversation in a pub inspired me encourage others to reignite their passion for photography. By experimenting with techniques like shallow depth of field, the aim is to see the world differently, rekindle creative vision and fall back in love with photography.

The Holloway
A “holloway” is a sunken lane usually overhung with trees. Could the Holloway Road in London be seen in a similar way? An introduction to a project re-imagining the busy street as a mysterious trackway through a wildwood.
Tyburn
A walk from the Old Bailey to Marble Arch, the route once taken by executed prisoners, marking the site of Newgate Prison and Tyburn Tree, notorious for mass executions. Despite the gruesome past, memorialization is minimal, highlighting the stories of the forgotten.
Queens Wood
The road from the west to the Mossy Well runs through woodland. Once the trees would have extended much further. Now the Mossy Well has become the North London suburb of Muswell Hill and the forest has shrunk to two small patches along either side of the main road from Highgate tube.
Hill Garden
Hill Garden is an almost secret park tucked away on the far western edge of Hampstead Heath, between Hampstead and Golders Green. What it like about it is the way it blurs into the edges of the heath with, at its heart, a dramatic pergola rising above the surrounding land.
